Hi, I’m Sophie Mokah, founder of the Creative Canada Accelerator. I know what it’s like to be a newcomer, a creative, and an ambitious professional seeking a start in Canada’s competitive job market. When I first arrived here, I was fortunate enough to have a company take a chance on me, which opened doors I never thought possible. Within just eight months, I went from an eager creative to landing a role as a Brand Communications Manager.

But I recognize that times have changed, and getting that first break can feel harder than ever. That’s why I created this program, to make it easier for talented creatives to gain the Canadian experience they need to launch their careers. Through my years of working with amazing Canadian companies and leading my own brand and marketing agency, I’ve built a strong network of partners who believe in giving newcomers and creatives a fair shot.
